I support my friends in the pursuit of their dreams.
I support my friends in the pursuit of their dreams.
I am my friends’ greatest cheerleader because I believe wholeheartedly in their abilities. My friends are intelligent, creative and capable. They can accomplish anything they set their minds to. I work hard to communicate my support effectively to my inner circle.
I affirm my loved ones every chance I get because my opinion matters. I want them to feel like there is no one else in the world who admires them more than I do. That is why I refrain from harsh criticism.
My close friends have dreams and aspirations that are important to them. I invite them to share those dreams with me in an environment free from judgment and negativity. My friends know that their dreams are safe with me.
Regardless of how large and seemingly impossible their vision may be, I support my friends one hundred percent. The bigger the dream, the more lavish my support. The way I stand by my friends is a symbol of my love.
When my spouse has a dream, I see it as an opportunity for me to demonstrate my love in the form of support. I take advantage of every chance I get to show my love in different ways. Encouraging my spouse is a simple way to express how much I appreciate and admire them.
Today, I choose to refrain from over-analyzing facts, and instead allow love to flow through me toward my inner circle. With undying support for their dreams, I give myself permission to value my partner’s heart above all else.
Questions for Self-Reflection:
- Why should I support my friends’ dreams?
- How can I demonstrate support to my spouse in a way they will understand?
- Why is it necessary to refrain from harsh criticism?
Allegra, what a great message ! It hit me what you said about supporting our spouse without over-analyzing their dreams. Encourage our partner will do so much good and energy will flow. Thanks.

Absolutely Allegra,
I think everyone should support each other dreams because in the end, we all need cooperation, collaboration, and co-creation to sustain a happy and joyous life here on earth.
When we support each other, our bonds and friendships become much stronger to create a community of like minded people who enjoy the creativity and passions with each other.
Hi Eldridge,
I think sometimes we think that we can only support the dreams of others if 1) they don’t require us to change or be inconvenienced at all, 2) we think their plans are a good idea, and 3) supporting these dreams won’t reduce our chance of reaching our own goals. Crazy, huh? There is room in the world for all of us to achieve our dreams so we don’t have to choose one or the other. I read an awesome book called, The Dream Giver by Bruce Wilkinson, have you ever seen it? It’s a powerful little book and a fast read. Check out the chapter on Dream Stealers, it will change your day!
Take care, Allegra
