My life is a work in progress
My life is a work in progress because aspects of my life are always changing and getting better. As a human being, I develop and grow in various ways. I do not have to know the entire plan right now, my work is to take the first step.
I feel invested in my life when I think about all the things I can work toward on any day. Today, I might concentrate on learning more about a specific technology but tomorrow I can focus on a softer skill. I can endeavor to be a better friend by spending more time with my inner circle.
I have endless opportunities to deepen my skills and understanding of things today. I consider each day an adventure and look forward to becoming better at something. Discovering new things about myself along the way is just the icing on the cake.
I want to be a great person, regardless of what I am doing. I strive to be the best. I do this with the sports I play, the hobbies in which I partake, and the work that I have chosen.
If I fail to achieve the goals I work for, I give myself a break. I am reminded that tomorrow is another day to put my heart into something and excel. And tomorrow I will understand the journey a little bit more.
Today, I intend to put in the maximum amount of effort into everything I do. I understand that my life is a work in progress, so I want to use each day to grow. By doing this, I know I can achieve greatness.
Questions for Self-Reflection:
- Do I concentrate on making progress in at least one area of my life each day?
- What would I consider as progress in my home life and work life?
- How can I continue to grow?
